Forest Essentials is one of my most favourite skincare brands ever. Walking into one of the FE stores is an experience in itself. The aroma, their packaging, the way their products are displayed is of a different level altogether.

I have used tons of Forest Essentials products over the years, and have loved almost every single one of them. One of my all-time favourites is the Narangi and Nagkesar Facial Ubtan. This product is a cleanser, exfoliant and face mask all rolled into one.

You can pamper your skin and use it as a face mask after cleansing and exfoliating with different products. However, if you are in a hurry someday and want to get a quick glow on your face, just mix it with some water, and your skin will glow for the world to see!

Let’s dive down further into details of this beautiful product:

Packaging:

The product comes in a transparent tub with a beautiful golden lid on top. To prevent spillage, there is another cap once you open the main lid.

Get this product from an FE store, and they will also provide you a spatula!

Price:

INR 1075 for 75 gms. If you use it around 2 times a week, it will easily last you for 5-6 months. A tiny amount each time is enough!

Formula & Consistency:

The Forest Essentials Facial Ubtan Narangi and Nagkesar is in a powdered form. Formulated with some beautiful ingredients such as nagkesar, orange peel extracts, pistachio and fenugreek seeds, it is a treasure in itself.

It has a moderate, pleasant citrusy fragrance.

My love for organic Indian brands knows no bounds, and one of the very first brands that I started incorporating into my regular skincare routine was Forest Essentials. ✨ ✨ The @forestessentials Ubtans are a must-have in the vanity of every woman out there. My favourite one is their Narangi and Nagkesar variant. This product is a cleanser, exfoliant and face mask all rolled into one. ✨ ✨ It is a luxury product, and I usually incorporate it into my weekend skincare routine. It creates magic with your skin. It immediately brightens, makes your face plump, adds a dewy glow and smoothens out the texture of your skin. The brightness and glow is visible and actually stays on your face for the next 3-4 days. I have used it consistently once or twice a week for over 3-4 months now. The hyperpigmentation marks on my skin have also visibly lightened. ✨ ✨ My favourite way to use it is to mix it with raw milk or curd and use it as a face pack. However, on days when I am in a hurry and do not have much time to pamper my skin, I just mix it with some plain water and my skin glows for the world to see. ✨ ✨ If there is one luxury product that is worth investing, worth every penny of your hard-earned money, it is this Ubtan. It will transform your skin to another level altogether! You can bid goodbye to salon facials with this one. ✨ ✨ Do not think twice before getting this, ladies! It is also a perfect product for your teenage daughters. How to Use:

  • Normal or Dry Skin – Wash your face with your regular cleanser. Take a dime-sized amount of the Forest Essentials Facial Ubtan Narangi and Nagkesar. Mix it with raw milk/curd and aloe vera juice. Apply it all over your face & neck. Leave it on for around 15 minutes. Wash off, tone and moisturize.
  • Oily Skin – Follow the same process as mentioned above. Instead of raw milk/curd, mix it with some raw honey and a few drops of fresh lemon juice.
  • Sensitive Skin – Mix the Forest Essentials Facial Ubtan Narangi and Nagkesar with rose water and an organic aloe vera juice. You can use the one from Forest Essentials itself.
  • Note: If you have hyperpigmentation on your face, mix a few drops of tomato juice with any of the formulations above. If you want a quick glow on your face, you can also mix it with plain water and scrub your face.

Frequency:

Once/twice a week

After-effects of the Forest Essentials Facial Ubtan Narangi and Nagkesar:

I genuinely believe that if you want to invest in only one expensive skincare product that is worth every penny, it has to be this one!

The Narangi and Nagkesar Ubtan creates magic on your skin. It immediately brightens, plumps, adds a natural glow and smoothens the texture of your skin. It reduces your blackheads, and with regular usage, also lightens your hyperpigmentation marks.

If you are looking for a good skincare product for your teenage daughter, introduce her to this. It is gentle, yet super-effective at the same time!

Do not forget to complement this product a regular healthy skincare regime. Drink tons of water and include a lot of veggies in your diet!
