How to Use Orange Peel for Skin:

If glowing skin is on your mind, orange peel is one of the best ways. Make your orange peel powder at home or get it from an organic source – you need it in your life!

Presenting a few orange peel mask recipes as per your skin type:

1] Orange Peel & Raw Milk:

Troubled by dry skin? It is time to reap some amazing benefits of orange peel for skin along with one of its best friends – raw milk.

Who is it for:

Normal to dry skin

Orange Peel & Raw Milk

How to Use:

  • Mix 1 part orange peel powder & 2 parts of raw milk.
  • Apply it on your face & neck. Leave it on for around 10-15 minutes.
  • Once it is semi-dry, start massaging your skin gently. Wash off.

Repeat once/twice a week for best results.

2] Orange Peel, Multani Mitti (Fuller’s Earth) & Rose Water:

This mask is heaven-sent for people bothered with the production of excess oil & sebum on their skin.

Who is it for:

Oily & combination skin

Orange Peel, Multani Mitti & Rose Water

How to Use:

  • Mix orange peel and multani mitti in equal quantities.
  • Add rose water drop by drop till it reaches a semi-thick consistency.
  • Apply it all over your cleansed skin. Leave it on for around 10-15 minutes.
  • Wash off, and follow up with a toner, serum & moisturizer.

Repeat twice a week and watch your skin get a beautiful, healthy glow!

3] Orange Peel, Gram Flour (besan) & Honey:

Looking for a natural cleanser as well as an exfoliant for your skin? This orange peel mask is going to save you some expensive bucks!

Who is it for:

Normal, dry, oily & combination skin

Orange Peel, Besan & Honey

How to Use:

  • Mix equal quantities of orange peel powder & gram flour (besan).
  • Add 1-2 spoons of honey till you get a somewhat thick consistency.
  • Apply it all over your face if you’re looking out for deep cleansing. However, if you want to tackle blackheads & whiteheads, you can apply it only on the relevant areas. I love applying this concoction on my t-zone.
  • Allow it to dry. Massage your skin gently while washing off.

Repeat this procedure twice/thrice a week.

4] Orange Peel & Curd:

This one’s a quick brightening mask that you can whip up and apply any time your skin feels dull & down in the dumps.

Who is it for:

Normal, dry, oily & combination skin

Orange Peel & Curd

How to use:

  • Mix 1 part orange peel powder and 2 parts plain curd. You can even add a pinch of turmeric to enhance its anti-bacterial benefits.
  • Apply it all over your face and neck. Leave it on for a period of 10-15 minutes.
  • Gently massage your skin while washing off.
  • Follow it up with a toner, serum & moisturizer.

Have to head out for an event and need a quick glow? This face mask will help you achieve that.

Orange peel is brilliant for the skin and helps you tackle several skin issues. You can even mix it with some fresh tomato juice if you’re troubled by severe hyperpigmentation – use this mix as a spot treatment.
